Our 35 year wedding anniversary and of course BIrds!!

Cindy and I spent the night at Los Poblanos Inn for our 35th wedding anniversary. It's a beautiful farm property that's primarily known for its lavender fields, but they also grow their own (organic) produce and raise pigs and chickens.  They also have a 'farm' shop where cheeses, breads, coffee shop items, upscale snack foods, and of course lavender products can be purchased. There is also a bar and restaurant, which is very convenient for a New Years' Eve stay. (No driving required.) Staying here has become somewhat of an annual tradition for us. The restaurant is very innovative; they incorporate the plants and animals raised on site into their menus and the majority of the other ingredients are locally sourced. Thankfully, they currently follow Covid-19 protocols, which is a requirement for us.  The dining room is currently closed to guests, so we opted for dinner in our room, which was wonderful.
