A little blue heron on the hunt
I didn't know there was such a bird as 'a little blue heron' but when I ran the picture through the bird app, there it was. There is also a bird called 'a little egret.' Neither bird grows into a great egret or great blue heron; they are just different bird types. Here, the little blue heron is on the hunt, hoping to spear a fish with it's sharp beak. There are still a few more pictures to post from the Sweetwater Wetlands Park, then hopefully I'll be posting photographs from my new camera. I just received it and haven't adjusted the settings yet, so it's not quite ready for prime time. My settings for this picture are off as discussed in the last post. So how can you tell something is wrong with this photo? If you continue to enlarge the picture it will become grainy, both the bird and the hyacinths.
