In my backyard practicing with the new camera among a bunch of pollinators

I'm in my backyard for a couple of reasons: one being my backyard is a great place to practice as it is pollination heaven with tons of flowers. Hummingbirds, bees of all types, quail, roadrunners, and hawks can all be found here from time to time. I'm trying out my brand new camera, and the backyard is a great place to work out the bugs, get the settings right, and generally learn how to use the camera. I'll discuss the camera in the next post with more pictures of bees. The other reason for staying close to home is that I'm injured. We aren't sure exactly what's wrong but it seems like a pulled intercostal muscle in my right chest.  I've had this recurring injury several times over the years, having originally injuring the chest in a water skiing fall in 1985.
